Welcome to the 2009 TAC-SCM Procurement Challenge (“SCM-PC”) Website. This Challenge requires trading agents to balance both long-term and one-off procurement contracts as they try to maximize profits and meet stochastic customer demand. Click on the following links to download the specs: The qualifying round for 2008 took place between June 23 to June 27, 2008. 2008 Qualifying Round Score Page The final round took place on July 14, 2008 from 13:00-23:00 GMT on tac1.cs.cmu.edu.
The final rounds will take place during the summer of 2009. As with the baseline game, participating in the competition does not
require teams to be physically present. Instead, you can remotely connect to
the challenge servers, which are hosted by the e-Supply Chain Management Lab
at The following is the latest release of the software developed to run the challenge. It consists of the AgentWare API and the SCM-PC server, which you can download from this page. An SCM-PC User’s Guide and the SCM-PC AgentWare’s JavaDocs are also made available through this page. We strongly encourage you to test drive our software and to email us any questions or comments you may have. While we’ve carefully tested our code, we rely on the TAC-SCM community to identify and report potential problems (whether with the software or the model itself) so they can be fixed well ahead of the tournament.
